2023/2024 Initiative — The Cro Foundation

Work is complete! The electronic baseball scoreboard has been installed and is in use. It was donated to Sykesville Baseball for Field 1 at Freedom Park in Sykesville, MD.

Ryan’s Reason: Ryan played baseball for Sykesville baseball for nine years, starting when he was seven years old and he continued playing through the Spring season of 2022. Over the years, Ryan participated in both the recreational and travel baseball programs, and was also an active umpire in the program for several years.

Target Fundraising Goal: $20,000, Funds raised and have been expended for the project.

Status: The project was a huge success and is complete. The scoreboard dedication ceremony was held on Saturday April 6th in conjunction with opening day of the Sykesville Rec Baseball season. There was a great turnout for the ceremony, and we greatly appreciate everyone who has supported the foundation and this initiative. We consider it a grand slam, Ryan would be proud!
